Product Description
Enter the intense and emotionally challenging world of the British prison system with Time, the acclaimed crime drama created by Jimmy McGovern.
Across three powerful seasons, this gripping anthology explores the lives of prisoners and the staff responsible for them. Each season introduces a new story, revealing how incarceration tests human dignity, challenges personal beliefs, and forces people to confront the consequences of their choices.
Season 1 follows Mark Cobden, a former teacher struggling with guilt after being imprisoned, and Eric McNally, a prison officer forced to make an impossible choice between his professional responsibilities and protecting his family.
Season 2 shifts to a women's prison, where Orla, a struggling mother, encounters inmates whose lives are shaped by addiction, violence, desperation, and the hope of a second chance.
Season 3 takes viewers into a young offenders' institution, where vulnerable teenagers face the harsh realities of imprisonment while prison staff struggle with questions of discipline, responsibility, and rehabilitation.
Featuring powerful performances, realistic characters, and emotionally charged storytelling, Time goes beyond the typical crime drama to examine justice, guilt, compassion, and the possibility of redemption.
